Comic-Con Prague s.r.o. processes your personal details for it is essential to uphold the contract with you regarding the sale and delivery of products and services (or to enforce conditions agreed prior to agreeing such a contract), and will also process your information in order to fulfil the company’s legal duties.

LEGAL BASE FOR THE PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DETAILS

The legal base for the processing of personal data ensures:

That the contract between you and the data administrator is upheld or to allow the manager to enforce adequate measures before such a contract is agreed upon, as stipulated by article 6 paragraph 1b of the European Parliament Regulation and Council 2016/697 on the protection of physical persons with relation to the processing of personal data and the free movement of this information and the annulment of guideline 95/46/ES (General Data Protection Regulation) (hereafter referred to as “Regulation”).

That legal requirements for the data administrator are upheld in relation to regulation mentioned in article 6 paragraph 1c. More specifically, this refers to the data administrator respecting their legal obligations and regulations, especially law number 235/2004 Sb., on the added-value tax, in the context of later regulations, law number 586/1992 Sb., on income taxes, in the context of later regulations, law number 563/1991 Sb., on accounting, in the context of later regulations.

THE AIM OF PROCESSING PERSONAL DATA

The aim of processing your personal data is to uphold the contract between you and the data administrator, including the delivery of products and the realisation of a service and solving the rights to responsibility of faults, or the data administrator’s implementation of measures before such a contract is agreed, and also the enforcement of relevant legal requirements by the data administrator.

An automatic individual decision, as defined in regulation paragraph 22, does not occur from the side of the data administrator.

TIME FRAME FOR THE STORAGE OF PERSONAL DATA

Your personal data will be processed for the time period stipulated in the rules and regulations the contract, and subsequently for the time necessary for the purpose of archiving, as stipulated by relevant general legal regulations. The longest period in which this information may be used will be that which is assigned by general legal regulations.

OTHER RECIPIENTS OF PERSONAL DATA

Your personal details will be received by others who play a part in the delivery of products or the processing of payments, as stated in the retail contract. Individuals responsible for technical services related to the online ordering system, including software functioning and data storage, will also have this information. Other people who will have access to your personal data will be Jiří Janda (IČ: 74754327, our internet solutions programmer) and Jana Moravcová Ph.D. (IČ: 74268872) as our administrator accountant.

People with access to your personal details (which is collected with the aim of fulfilling legal criteria) can also be departments of financial management or other relevant departments, under the condition that they help the manager to uphold legally-binding general regulations.

The data administrator does not intend to pass your personal information onto a third country (a country outside of the EU) or a multinational corporation.

THE RIGHTS OF DATA SUBJECTS

Under the conditions outlined in the regulations, you have the right to request access to your personal information from the data administrator. You also have the right to correct or remove your personal information, or to limit its processing time. You also have the right to voice your concerns over the processing of your personal data and you have the right to transfer your personal data.

Should you be under the impression that the processing of your personal data has been violated, or that the regulations have been violated, you have the right to complain at the supervisory authority.

You are not required to present your personal details. The sharing of personal data is, however, a necessary requirement to agreeing and fulfilling your contract, and without the use of personal data, it is impossible to finalise the contract or to fulfil it from the data administrator’s standpoint.
